Our work

in Ukraine

Mykhailo, Nataliia, and Mykhailo Jr.

This Ukrainian family lives in Kharkiv, where their home was bombed. In the bombing, Mykhailo suffered a severe back injury, and since then the family has been struggling with the devastation and injustice that has afflicted their country. They have managed to restore a small part of their home with minimal resources, but it remains unsuitable for living in Ukraine’s harsh climate.

They are facing a shortage of water and sanitation services, as their home’s drainage system was destroyed in the attack. However, their greatest hardship is watching Mykhailo, the father and sole provider, suffer from severe pain and immobility. He urgently needs spinal surgery, which must be performed abroad. The nearest and most affordable option is in Poland.

Our team is in direct contact with the family’s daughter, Krystyna, and her husband, Amer, who have expressed their deep distress. They desperately seek assistance to relieve Mykhailo’s suffering, provide him with the necessary medical treatment, and restore what they can of their home.

Our hope is to bring justice and kindness to those in need, wherever they may be. We need your support to save this family. We have always believed in your ability to turn the impossible into reality and to bring light where there is darkness.

Here is the donation link for Krystyna’s family and ways to contact them directly for personal assistance: Krystyna’s Family GoFundMe.
