Holy Feet: The First Shoe Project

October 2024/Gaza

The Shoe Project may seem like a simple or secondary need, but the repeated complaints and urgent pleas we’ve received highlight the severe rise in shoe prices. Many people, including children, are walking barefoot, exposing themselves to injuries and infections—which, given the lack of medical care is a serious risk. In response, we decided to focus on this issue and work towards providing even a small portion of the much-needed shoes to families in desperate need—families who have no means of affording or obtaining them in any way.

We gathered donations and made personal efforts to bring this project to life Our goal was to provide them with both physical protection and emotional support, even through the simplest necessities. We strive to maintain continuous contact with them, offering hope and ensuring they feel cared for, as we draw inspiration from the purity and peace reflected in their souls.
